Cornwall College

Cornwall College is the largest college in the country with over 60,000 students; 10% full time 90% part time. The average age of its students is 38 taking one or more of the 3,000 courses on offer. It has an annual budget of c. £60 million.

The College has 7 main campuses throughout Cornwall and incorporates Duchy College one of the leading land based colleges, Falmouth Marine School and Cornwall Business School.

The College works with many businesses and is a major provider of work based learning within the South West peninsula. The College is a Centre of Vocational Excellence for IT systems and a designated Microsoft and Cisco Academy. IT Training is also provided across the Region in 10 Community based Learning Shops and the college is also at the forefront of e-learning solutions through Cornwall College Online.

Cornwall College is a key partner in the Combined Universities in Cornwall Initiative and a University of Plymouth partner college and has over 2500 HE students a figure set to double by the end of the decade.
