City of Bristol College
City of Bristol College is the third largest college in the country and attracts 35,000 students from many parts of Britain and from overseas.
Although relatively new, the City of Bristol College has already been singled out for praise by college inspectors for the impressive range of courses on offer, support for students and progression opportunities. The College is able to offer over 1,500 learning opportunities in a variety of subject areas. Specialist courses often not available elsewhere attract students from many parts of the UK and overseas.
The College has nine main centres throughout Bristol: Ashley Down, Bedminster, City Centre, Downend, Folly Lane, Hartcliffe, Lawrence Weston, Parkway and Soundwell.
The Brunel Centre in Ashley Down is currently being renovated. The £15 million programme will fully restore the outside of the buildings and bring up to modern standards all the teaching and communal areas.
The College is a partner college of the University of the West of England, University of Plymouth and Bath Spa University College
