AoC Beacon Awards

7th December 2005

The winners of the 2005-2006 Beacon Awards were announced at the AoC National Conference in Birmingham in November. Many congratulations to the following Colleges from the South West:

Bournemouth and Poole College
The CoLRiC award for Effcetive Integration of Learning Resouces into Curriculum Delivery

City of Bristol College
The Fenc award for Successful Use of Learning Resources

Cornwall COllege
Jardine Lloyd Thopmson Award for Health and Cummunity Care

Bridgwater College
The Learning and Skills Council award for College Engagement with Employers

There were 25 Beacon Awards with south west colleges winning 4.

In addition 7 South West Colleges were highly commended or achived the final shortlisting stage.
